Finest guild!!
The form to sign up for ladybug during the next study period is now up on the notice board in the Hilbert corridor. Some people have already signed up, so don't hesitate to do so as well!
As a ladybug, you are responsible for keeping the café open during one day each week. This includes opening and closing, selling sandwiches, and making coffee for all the thirsty guild members. In return you get:
•Unlimited coffee and tea during the entire study period
•One free sandwich each day (or three per week if you are two people sharing one day)
•A reasonable amount of fika every day
•To decide the music that plays in the café
•An invitation to the café party
•All the usual volunteer benefits
•Infinite gratitude from your fellow guild comrades and the Café masters 🥰
If you're in your first year, this is also your only opportunity to get a volunteer medal at the skiftesgasque in February.
To sign up, simply write your name and contact info on the note in the Hilbert corridor. Alternatively, you can send an email to vicecafe@fsektionen.se

Dear guild!
There is now a sufficient number of candidates for the extra election for FARAD, and the election will thus close at 23.59 Monday the 17/10. It still isn't too late to candidate, so if you are interested, send your candidacy to farad@fsektionen.se! For more info, se the earlier news posts where the role of FARAD person was announced.

Time for 2022's last FETSM!!
This time we kick off the jubilee weeks with a classic FETSM! So put on your most colorful dresses and sweaters, enjoy a unique menu and swing by the bubble-bar.

Payment is made on site. The price is preliminary.
Registration for the event is binding, and registered people who do not show up at the event and do not have a reserve that can take their place are liable for payment. This is in order to reduce food waste during future events.
During the event, one or more photographers will be present. If you do not want to be in a photo, feel free to talk to them.

TLDR: Buy a coffee card before the exam weeks if you want to be able to drink coffee and/or have fika during the upcoming weeks, no sandwiches will be sold

This week is the last week that the café will be open (*) for the study period. I write with an asterisk because there will sometimes (read the days a Ladybug or Head of the Café is in the mood/able) be self-service of coffee and fika to grab if you have a coffee card. It will not be possible to pay by card, so if you wish to have coffee or fika during the exam weeks you will need to buy a coffee card no later than Friday this week.

Also no sandwiches will be sold during the exam weeks.

Here is a brief summary of what was decided at the last board meeting, F03-HT22:

• Two expenses in which complete receipts were lacking were approved.
• A purchase with a guild card of things not related to the position to which the card was linked was approved.
• An expense from a camp worker who lent his car to the guild during the camp was compensated in the form of a subsidized ticket to the anniversary ball.

This Friday the 14th of October the World Masters are arranging an exchange studies mingle for people who are interested in going abroad during their studies. People who have been on exchange and international students will be there to talk about their experience, so it’s a golden opportunity to ask specific questions about a university you’re interested in or if you just have general inquiries about the application process. And if you’re just curious to talk to people from other cultures you’re more than welcome! The event is of course for everyone but might be most interesting for third and fourth year students for whom the application process soon begins.

There’s gonna be free coffee and fika, so come and talk with us on Friday! We will be in the northern part of the foyer between 12-16.
