Young Scientists

Teodor Bucht 14:29, 25 May 2020

Dear Guild!

Did you know that the guild is a member of the association Young Scientists. This implies that you automatically become a member of Young scientists when you become a member of the guild.

What does this mean for you as a member of the guild?

  • Your personal data that you share with the guild is shared with young scientists each year. This process is regulated by a contract between the guild and young scientists in line with GDPR.
  • You can attend cheaper events since the guild receives financial support from young scientists.
  • More benefits that you can read about here: https://ungaforskare.se/anslut-forening/.

If you have any questions about this, please send an email to ordf@fsektionen.se.

Help us keep the math building closed

Simon Althoff 18:16, 12 May 2020

Dear Guild!
Due to current directives the mathbuilding is closed to all without access. Hence it is important that we help each other in keeping it closed. If you open a window make sure it is closed when you leave. It is also not allowed to keep any of the entry level doors open. If you see a door that is open it would be much appreciated if you closed it.

We hope you are well and wish you good look in your studies
Best regards
The management

Study Slack

Simon Althoff 13:14, 26 Mar 2020

We in the management have created a Slack workspace for studying now that everything is done from home! It's a place where you can ask questions and help your class mates with their questions. So join in and look for your courses amongst the channels. If you can't find your course, create a new channel and invite people to it.

Short video if you've never used slack before: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RJZMSsH7-g

Teodor Bucht 22:17, 24 Mar 2020

Dear Guild!

Because of the situation regarding covid-19 the board has decided to make some changes with the spring guild assembly. Firstly the guild assembly will be held digitally, with zoom. Secondly, the spring guild assembly will be split into two parts with the purpose of giving the board more time to prepare for a digital guild assembly. The 6th of april, all ordinary points will be treated except for budget, propositions and motions. These will instead be treated at the second half of the assembly, which will be held 4th of may. Note that this does not change the motion-deadline. Information regarding zoom will be provided later. The affection square that was planned for this friday (27/3) is cancelled due to the moving of the second half of the assembly. There will be another opportunity to discuss motions and motions replies before the 4th of may.

The following dates and time are the current ones:

  • 30th of march publishing of meeting agenda for the first half
  • 6th of april, spring guild assembly (all ordinary points exceot for budget, propositions and motions) 17:59 via zoom
