On Thursday, February 1, it's time for the F guild's labor market fair FARAD, and registration for contact interviews is now open with the company d-fine, a growing consulting company that recently opened an office in Stockholm.

Contact calls are like a less formal job interview where you can talk about possible employment. The talks take place during the fair day and registration is done via the form below. 5 students are then selected for each interview by d-fine's representatives.

We at d-fine are over 1500 colleagues with backgrounds mainly in mathematics and physics. And the company's requirement profile for applicants is:

• Outstanding master's or PhD students from the following fields: physics, mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, engineering or economics with a relevant focus on quantitative, analytical or technological specialization.

• Proficiency in IT coupled with strong programming skills.

• Familiarity with at least one of the following subjects: data science, mathematical statistics, numerical analysis, simulation techniques (e.g., Monte Carlo), optimization methods (e.g., simulated annealing), and financial mathematical modelling.

• English language proficiency and proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or Finnish.

After a few crisp days on the slalom slopes of the Alps, the F-guild has made the pilgrimage back to LTH. Now our very own job market fair FARAD is fast approaching, so if you need to replenish your coffers after after-skin or simply just love interviews, this is the fair for you.

There will be lunchtime lectures, contact talks and a lot of other exciting things. Above all, it has now become time to register for the crescendo of the fair: the FARAD banquet.

The FARAD banquet is a fine dining event where company representatives and students are given the opportunity to meet in a more relaxed atmosphere. A night out where everyone wants you and where Weco wants to be you. Mingle with everything from investment bankers to laser physicists, with a background of Lunda musicians and wonderful food!

The extra election for FNU-representative is now open until 23:59 on wednesday, 24th of january . As a FNU-representative you will be the guilds face outward to the business world, both maintaining the contact with our current partners as well as reaching out to new ones. You will also have a lot of freedom to run your own projects and arrange events.

Hello everyone! It's FETSM time! SEXET24's first!

It's time for the first FETSM of the year, and this time we invite you to an unforgettable experience - SEXET24's first Underground Sittning! 🕵️‍♂️🌌

Join us as we delve into the underground mysteries of the party world and explore the secrets of the night. Forget supernatural worries and dive into a world of festivities that will shake the ground!

Date of the grand underground sittning: Saturday, February 3rd! 📆

Registration for the event opens at 12:15 this Friday (February 19) in the F-app (and the website) and will remain open until 23:59 on February 23! It's first come, first served, so be ready to register for the ultimate underground party experience!

Payment for the event will be made via Zettle links, which will be mailed out to those who got a place when registration closes! Preliminary price 80kr! NOTE! Registration is binding. Registrants who do not show up at the event and do not have a reserve who can take your place are liable to pay. This is in order to reduce food waste during the event.

During the sittning, one or more photographers will be present. If you don't want to be photographed, talk to them!

The extra election for the position of cinematographer is now open. The cinematographers assist with making movies for different purposes at the guild and are responsible for the filming equipment we have. The cinematographers also get a drone licence financed by the guild in order for them to be able to use it for their work. If you enjoy working with movies then this is your chance to assist the guild with it.

If you are intrested in applying for the post of cinematographer then send a mail to sanning@fsektionen.se with the subject application for cinematographer and I will make sure to contact you when the time for applications has closed. If you get chosen for the position then you will remain on the post for the rest of the year. You can send in your applications until 23:59 on friday the 19th of January 2024. Now that the exam period is past us, it is time to fill out the CEQ-surveys. They should've been sent your normal mail on saturday if you missed them. If you fill out all your surveys you have a chance at winning a giftcard to ICA, but the more important thing is that you can affect the future of the education. For example, previous answers have led to the removal of a written report in FMNN10.

Note: the giftcard only applies for the engineering-programmes.

Hello, dear guild!

From today until 23:59 friday 19th January is the extra election for the position as “baked” open. You apply by mailing vicecafe@fsektionen.se. Write “application baked” in the subject and a short motivation why you want to be one of the “baked” team.

“Baked” is a really cozy volunteer position within the “cafemästeriet” where you in a group bake cookies once a week. The cookies will then be sold in the café. In addition to the normal thank you parties all guild officials get you also get to eat the cookies you bake. Hope to see you in the café.

ARKAD is the largest career fair in Scandinavia and is arranged annually by the Student Union at LTH. The goal is to give all students a chance to meet future employers and get some perspectives on life after your studies. To achieve this, we need a crew of driven people who arrange the different aspects of the fair. How about graphic design? Documenting our work and activities on social media? Planning the largest sittning at LTH? Reaching out to businesses and organisations? No matter your previous involvements at your guild or TLTH or lack thereof, there is something for you!

As part of the project group you’ll get to know and work with people from across LTH. You’ll get to visit other universities and meet their project groups, get practical leadership experience, organise something that benefits you and all your co-students.
