On monday The Students' Educational Council will be in the foyer and will give out coffee and perhaps some candy to those who can show that they filled out their CEQ-survey.
CEQ-surveys helps us make your courses better for all future students. If you think that the survey takes too long to fill out, I can tell you that all questions are not obligatory and half an answer is better than no answer at all. The most important fields are the open text fields for when we have meetings with your teachers.

This news comes with both fun and partly sad news. Vi webmaster have been working hard on a new version for the F-app! 🥳
But hold your horses! Because of some differences with Apple the new app version unfortunately doesn't work for iPhone users, so we would discourage you from updating until this has been worked out. We hope this won't be very long. For now, the website works perfectly well to do everything you would do in the app! We apologize for the inconvenience but hope that you understand ❤
For you Android users, however, you have only fun things to look forward to!

The nominations from the nomination committee for the guild meeting VT24 have been announced. This also means that the window for declaring candidacies is now open until 23/3 21:00. For the upcoming spring semester meeting, the section will not be able to offer free food to registrants. Instead, pasta salad will be offered at cost price to the registered participants. If you bring a lunch box, the price will be even cheaper, and also more sustainable!

On Thursday, the election committee will announce their nominations for the spring semester meeting. If the board's proposal for the meeting order, which you can find here: https://fsektionen.se/dokument/1289 , is voted through at the beginning of the spring semester meeting, it will only be possible to counter-candidate for positions where the nomination committee has a complete proposal if you raise your candidacy within 48 hours after the nominations are posted. This applies regardless of whether or not the candidate has been interviewed by the Nomination Committee. Only the people nominated by the nomination committee will not be required to reactivate their candidacy.
In practice, this will work as follows: If you are not nominated by the Nomination Committee, you will need to email valleb@fsektionen.se , and send an email that looks like the following:
Declaration of candidacy
I, your name and class, wish to raise my candidacy for the position you wish to run for.
Thereafter, the nomination committee will send the questions that will be presented on the nomination poster, and you will then have the opportunity to answer these, but it is of course not a requirement to answer the questions.It is, however, a requirement that your name appears on the poster. Only after all this will you be free to counter-candidate for the specific post at the meeting.
For those posts where there is no sufficient number of applicants or where the Election Committee has chosen to nominate vacant candidates, the election is opened to floor nominations, as it has been in the past. The same applies even if the nominees do not accept the nomination.

On Friday between 10 am and 1 pm, the board will sit in the café for the last time before the spring semester meeting and offer coffee and popcorn! The only thing needed to get it is that you come with a question or opinion to the board:)
This week's theme is meeting order, so if you have questions regarding how the board's proposal for meeting order works in practice, or questions in general about the upcoming spring semester meeting, this is a perfect time to get answers to them! If you have opinions or questions about the guild's activities in general, we of course welcome them as well.
