INTERVIEW
Why should someone apply to the Representative Council?
Because it’s fun, educational, and incredibly rewarding.
Why did YOU apply to the Representative Council?
I applied as a first-year student because I think it’s important to have the full spectrum of students at LTH represented in the Council. It’s also an incredibly educational and unique role considering the insight you gain into a large organisation.
What have you done in the Representative Council?
A lot of fun things! What I found most rewarding personally was when we appointed the board and sabbatical officers, decided on the budget framework, and addressed various issues related to the companies owned by Teknologkåren.
What is the most rewarding aspect of the Representative Council?
Meeting a number of engaged and talented people who are passionate about their work.
Do you have to be well-informed about the union to join the Representative Council?
Not beforehand. You are elected as a representative for the students, and it’s useful to have an outside perspective. Make sure to read up thoroughly before the meetings and ask any questions you have, and you’ll do great. After all, you are a technology student!
Howdy,
The Educational Council and LiBu are investigating the guild’s stress levels to find out what you are stressed about and how we can help you. We are doing this through the survey below, which would be great if you could fill out, especially for your own benefit.
Those who complete the survey and are registered for Study Night will get free food tonight. DON'T FORGET that you need to be able to show that you have completed the survey. So don’t close the tab when you have submitted your respons.
Hi there beautiful guild!
Over the past year, work has been done to improve and simplify both the guild's internal communication and information dissemination to all members. With this, we will from now on move to Mattermost as the new primary platform for communication and leave Facebook behind.
We see countless advantages to this, including:
We, therefore, encourage all members to download the Mattermost app and then click on the link below to create an account and join. https://mm.fsektionen.se/signup_user_complete/?id=ob6rir8wefnytnx6czgqgzy81w&md=link&sbr=sa
If you need to enter a server address, it is: mm.fsektionen.se
Once on Mattermost, you should make sure to set up your notifications so that you receive all important information. There you can also browse our channels and join the ones that interest you.
If you encounter any problems or have questions about the swap itself, you can contact our Head of App and Web development Benjamin Halasz at spindelforman@fsektionen.se
As you probably understand, there will now be a transition period during which we will use both Facebook and Mattermost, before a complete stop of postings on Facebook. Therefore, please join Mattermost as soon as possible, so that you don't miss important information or fun things that happen in the guild. The website will continue to be used as usual.
Hugs, hugs, hugs,
The board feat. Ministry of Truth (all credit to our Webmasters)

At 12:15 tomorrow (Wednesday 9 October) the opportunity of your reading period will present itself. That's when we will (symbolically) nail the note for the ladybug registration for lp2 on the notice board in the Hilbert corridor. You won't want to miss it!
As a ladybug you are responsible for keeping the cafe open one day a week for a study period and as well as being great fun there are lots of other benefits:
Benefits:
Meet lots of lovely people in Hilbert and have super fun!
6 Hilbertsandwiches™ a week to share sibling-wise between the other ladybugs on your day, or 5 Hilbertsandwiches™ a week as a single ladybug.
Infinitely enumerable cups of coffee or tea throughout the study period
A reasonable amount of fika each day of the study period (breakfast is fika!)
Deciding the music played in Hilbert
Thanks as for any other functionary post, ie shifts and café thanks but also the epic café party with the other cafes at LTH
The guild will be happy since it has ladybugs
Me and Nina will be very happy as we are not without ladybugs <3
No previous experience is required to be a ladybug. If it seems tempting, just either sign up yourself or get together with a friend or two and sign up on the list that will be posted in the Hilbert corridor tomorrow at 12:15. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email vicecafe@fsektionen.se
See you in the café!
Hugs, the café masters <33
🌟Hello everyone🌟
💥As early as October 18th it's time for a motion stop💥, so if you intend to write a motion for the fall term meeting, it's a good idea to start now.
If you have difficulty getting started, or need help along the way, we on the board are happy to help!!!❤️🔥 Take the opportunity on Thursday because then the board will sit in the café between 10 am and 1 pm. And of course you get a cup of coffee then too;) ☕️

🗳️Hello everyone🗳️
The proposed meeting order is now up on the website. You can find it here: https://fsektionen.se/dokument/1387.
If the proposed meeting order were to be voted through at the meeting, the following would happen, among other things.
Only candidates nominated by the Nomination Committee and candidates who have notified the Nomination Committee of a counter-nomination no later than November 15, 23:59 are entitled to run. This is at least 48 hours after the Nomination Committee's nominations have been announced and the freeze on nominations has been lifted. The nominated candidates and those who have filed a counter-nomination will be published for the guild before the meeting.
Spontaneous nominations are only allowed for those positions for which the nomination committee has no complete proposal. Spontaneous nominations are allowed even if fewer candidates accept the nomination of the nomination committee than the limit for the post.
The meeting rules also contain a lot of other things that can be very good to know for those who have applied for a position that is elected at the section meeting, or intend to go to the guild meeting in general, so read through it!!!!!!📖📚
Please please please read the meeting order<3
