Description

The Sports Foreman is the convener of the athletes and chairs their work with the help of the Minister for Culture. The Sports Foreman's responsibility is to assist and help the athletes to organize the activities and events they want to organize. You are also responsible for the guild's sporting equipment and to assist the Minister for Culture in the disposition of the finances for sports activities. The post requires a co-operative attitude, good planning skills and a good distribution of responsibilities. Being interested in sports is also a great advantage.

Who currently occupies the position?

Description

Athletes plan and organize all activities of a sporting nature within the guild. These can be weekly activities such as running, table tennis and frisbee, or organizing a team in a football or a volleyball tournament. You can also organize larger one-off events such as a dodgeball tournament or a half marathon. As an athlete, you have the opportunity to be very creative and organize the activities you find fun.

Description

The Reiseleiteriet is convened by the Reisemeisters who, together with the Minister for Culture, are responsible for the activities of the Reiseleiteriet. The Reiseleiter organizes a lot of fun events for the guild. This can be anything from sittings and releases to bus trips and other exciting excursions. Therefore, it is advantageous if you are very creative, inventive and can come up with new fun ideas. The amount of time the post takes varies a bit from period to period and which internal post you have, but it is very much up to each person how much time they want to put in.

When you apply for the post as Reiseleiter, you also apply for the post as Förare. It is not possible to only apply for one of the posts. As a Förare, you will act as a worker for The Introduction Committee at “peppverksamhet” during the Introduction.

Description

As the Minister for Culture, you are the chairman of the committee of the Ministry of Culture and are therefore responsible for all the activities of the committee. This includes budgetary responsibilities. As committee chairman, you also represent the committee in the Council of Executives.

It is important to be able to coordinate and lead the work of the different parts of the committee and to ensure that the whole committee has a good sense of community and that everyone feels equally valued. You are assisted by the Reisemeister and the Sports Foreman, but it is important that you, as the Minister for Culture, have a good insight into all parts of the committee and can be available and helpful when needed.

Being the Minister for Culture requires a lot of time as it is a large committee consisting of several different parts that all need the Minister for Culture in different ways. How much time you need to spend on the post depends of course on how ambitious you are, but it's a pretty high minimum regardless. There are a lot of lunch meetings and a lot of smaller things that need to be fixed all the time. As Minister for Culture, you can do some things on your own, but you often need to communicate a lot with the Reisemeisters, the Sports Foreman and other people involved in the committee. Therefore, it is advantageous if you have good communication skills, can work well with others and have good leadership skills.

The post itself often brings a certain amount of stress, especially when you have to start up all the committees work at the beginning of the year, during periods with a lot of events such as the Introduction or when something unexpected happens that you need to sort out. All the responsibilities that are placed on you as Minister for Culture can also contribute to increased stress or anxiety. It is therefore very important to be prepared for this and to dare to say when things get too much so that you in the committee can plan and communicate with each other and help each other out in periods with a lot of stress.

As a Reisemeister, you are responsible for leading and convening Reiseleiteriet with the help of the Minister for Culture. You assist the Reiseleiters and ensure that they can carry out the events they want to organize. Above all, it involves a lot of administrative work such as making the necessary bookings and organizing the work of the Reiseleiters while they is responsible for the actual event planning and implementation. It is also important that you, as Reisemeister, can be there for the Reiseleiters and make sure that they do not get too stressed. You are also responsible for organizing one Funktionärstack per semester. Together with the Sports Foreman, you are a pillar of support for the Minister for Culture.

You don't have any budgetary responsibility as a Reisemeister, but you help the Minister for Culture to organize the finances for the various events organized by the Reiseleiters. How much time the post takes varies from period to period and how much work you are willing to put in, but it is more work before an event and during the Introduction. If you plan your work well and have good communication with the Minister for Culture and Reiseleiteriet, you should be able to do your job without being too stressed. The post requires you to be co-operative, have good communication skills and be able to distribute responsibilities well.

When applying for the post Reisemeister, you are also applying for the post Överför. It is not possible to only apply for one of the posts. As a Överför. you will act as a supervisor for the Förare during the Introduction and coordinate their work during “peppverksamhet”.

As a Tandem Relay General, you are responsible for the guild's participation in the annual Tandem Relay race that takes place every year that there is no carnival. The Tandem Relay is a cycling competition on a tandem bike from Gothenburg to Lund where you compete in things like getting as close to the secret total time as possible and the “Lilla och Stora Bergshackan”. It is advantageous if you as a Tandem Relay General can handle your work relatively independently, but you will of course get help and support from the Minister for Culture. It is also important to be able to cooperate with the Tandem Relay Generals from the other guilds and to be good at planning and structuring your work in a good way. The post requires some work during the spring term before the Tandem Relay that takes place in May.

Description

As the Song contest team leader, you have the overall responsibility to ensure that the F-guild has a contribution to the TLTH Song contest and that it is performed. Being a Song contest team leader is quite a demanding job, as there are many things to coordinate and to make work, but it makes it easier to be three people sharing the responsibility and to have close contact with the Minister of Culture. The time commitment is not so great during most of the year, but in the months before the Song contest itself there is more to do. It is a definite advantage to have participated in the Song Contest yourself, or to have experience of other performing arts or theatre.

F-, known as F-ninja, is the guild's most mysterious post. As an F-, it is incredibly important that you can keep your identity secret as no one should know who you are. You have to be very creative in your post as it is very much up to you what you want to do with your post, but it is usual that the ninja shows up at some events and at Nollegasque.

    Description

    @1337, known as atleets, organizes the guild's gaming activities such as chess tournaments, League of Legends tournaments and may also be responsible for running a Minecraft server. The activities organized by the atleets are decided by the post holders. As an atleet, you therefore have the opportunity to be very creative in your post and organize the events you are interested in. Atleets are often led by a convening atleet whose job is to chair the lunch meetings with the help of the Minister for Culture.
