Before an event the chefs prepare the menu and test, shop and prepare as much as possible before. On the day of an event the chefs usually starts quite early because the food takes some time to prepare. Together with the rest of the masters they make sure that the food is ready in time and served to the guests. They are also responsible for food for the people working at the event. When the event is over the chefs are responsible for the cleaning of the kitchen.
As thanks for their work they can attend all events during the next year for free.
