The responsibility lies in wearing a tailcoat or black long dress to take oneself and the flag to the specified place when the “fanborgen” is to be present. Occasions when the fanborg is to attend include flyING, Nollelördagen, Regatta and graduation ceremonies. Attendance is also desirable during Elk trips and ceremonies by the sjön Sjön. The graduation ceremony usually falls on the exam week lp4 and extends over one day. In addition to carrying the flag, the Standard-bearer must raise the flag on Swedish flag days and on ordinary and extraordinary flag days. Being a Standard-bearer can be more demanding than you think as the flag covers the entire field of vision and is quite heavy.
